Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce Turned a Teammate’s Wedding Into Their Own Mini Victory Lap

Just a week after their own wedding, Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce showed up looking like they stepped off a magazine cover at JuJu Smith-Schuster’s wedding to Laura Kruk. The event went down on Friday, July 10, in what was essentially the NFL’s most star-studded reception of the summer.

Photos from the night show Swift in a pink dress that basically glowed and Kelce in a sharp dark suit. The couple looked relaxed, happy, and very much like people who just got married themselves and were enjoying being on the other side of the aisle for a change.

Why Were They There?

Kelce and Smith-Schuster played together in Kansas City. Not just for a season either. Smith-Schuster first joined the Chiefs in 2022 after spending five years with the Steelers. That 2022 season ended with a Super Bowl ring, and Smith-Schuster put up 78 catches for 933 yards and three touchdowns. Solid numbers. He then bounced to New England for a year, got cut, and landed back in Kansas City.

His production dipped after that. In his last two seasons with the Chiefs, he managed just 576 yards and three touchdowns across 31 games. Not bad for a role player but a long way from his Pittsburgh heyday.

Now he’s with the Giants. New York signed him in June 2026, adding him to a receiver room that already includes Malik Nabers, Odell Beckham Jr., and rookie Malachi Fields. So he’s got competition.

Kelce’s Season Ahead

Travis Kelce is heading into his 14th NFL season. He re-signed with the Chiefs after spending a while thinking about retirement following a rough 2025 campaign where the team only won six games. That’s a big fall from where they’d been. But he’s back. And now he’s a married man.

Kelce and Swift went public with their relationship nearly three years ago. They got married in a private ceremony, then showed up at Smith-Schuster’s wedding looking like they were still in honeymoon mode. It’s the kind of off-season story that reminds you these guys actually have lives outside of third-down conversions.

Smith-Schuster and Kruk’s wedding marks one of the first public appearances for the newlyweds. And honestly, it’s kind of nice that for one night, the attention was on another couple’s vows. Even if Taylor Swift was in the room.
