Olivia Miles Just Did Something No WNBA Rookie Has Done This Fast

Olivia Miles keeps finding new ways to make people watch.

The Minnesota Lynx rookie put up another monster performance on Saturday, dropping 23 points on the New York Liberty in a 90-85 win. But the real story is what she’s doing to the record book. According to ESPN Insights, Miles is now the fastest player in WNBA history to hit 350 points, 100 rebounds and 100 assists. She did it in just 21 games. That’s absurd for any player, let alone a rookie.

Miles went 6-of-16 from the floor and 4-of-7 from three-point range, plus she hit 7-of-10 free throws. She also grabbed five boards, dished four assists and snagged a steal in 32 minutes. The Lynx drafted her second overall in 2026, and she’s already looking like the kind of foundation piece teams build around for a decade.

The Lynx are straight up rolling

Minnesota improved to 17-6 with Saturday’s win, which puts them alone at the top of the Western Conference. They’re ahead of the Las Vegas Aces and the Golden State Valkyries right now, and they’re not showing any signs of slowing down.

It wasn’t a cakewalk though. New York had the game tied at 62 after three quarters. Then the Lynx just turned it on in the fourth, outscoring the Liberty 29-23 in the final frame.

Kayla McBride led all scorers with 25 points, hitting 5-of-11 from deep and going perfect from the line. Natasha Howard added 16 points and nine rebounds. Courtney Williams put up a double-double with 12 points and 12 boards. But it was Miles running the show that kept New York’s defense off balance all afternoon.

The Liberty had no answer for her off the pick-and-roll, and when they tried to go under screens she made them pay from deep. That’s the scary part about her game right now. She’s not just a passer or just a scorer. She’s both, and she’s figuring out when to be which.

What’s next for Minnesota

The Lynx stay on the road for their next one. They’ll host the Phoenix Mercury on July 13 with tip-off set for 9 p.m. ET. Phoenix has been up and down this season, but they’ve got enough firepower to make things interesting. Miles vs. Brittney Griner in the paint won’t be a direct matchup, but it’ll be the kind of game that tests how far this young Lynx core can go.

For now, Miles is just stacking milestones. And she’s doing it faster than anyone has before.
