Kolo Muani to Juve Looks Dead. Ederson to United Is Off Too. Welcome to July.

Juventus wanted Randal Kolo Muani. Paris Saint-Germain wanted €55 million plus add-ons. Juve offered €35 million. Those numbers do not meet in the middle. So the deal is basically dead, according to reports out of Italy.

Juve’s sporting director Cristiano Giuntoli has already moved on to alternatives. Two names keep surfacing: Lautaro Giannetti from Parma and Alexander Sorloth from Atletico Madrid. Neither is the star striker the fans were hoping for, but the budget is what it is. PSG isn’t negotiating down, and Juventus isn’t going higher.

Meanwhile, the Ederson to Manchester United saga collapsed. Atalanta’s Brazilian midfielder had a €45 million agreement with Juve’s Giuntoli, but United never matched it. Atalanta pulled out. Now Ederson stays put, and United fans get to keep refreshing their timelines.

Inter Moves Quick on Lucumi

While Juve’s transfer window stalls, Inter is working. They’re pushing for Bologna center-back Kevin Lucumi. The Colombian is physical, comfortable on the ball, and has a release clause that makes him affordable. Inter needs defensive depth, and Lucumi fits the profile. No deal is done yet, but the interest is real.

Milan Picks Between Two Teenagers

AC Milan has narrowed its search for a young midfielder to two names. One is Bosnian talent Aldin Alajbegovic, who is on Zlatan Ibrahimovic’s radar. The other is Greek starlet Konstantinos Karetsas from Genk. Milan has already signed one Genk prospect — midfielder Ilian Illiassou — and they like the pipeline. Ibrahimovic prefers the Bosnian. The club has been in contact with Bayer Leverkusen, who hold Alajbegovic’s rights. No decision yet, but Milan wants to move before the price goes up.

Dybala Stays. Roma Fans Relax.

Paulo Dybala signed a one-year extension with Roma, his fifth season with the Friedkin group. The contract has no options, just a simple one-year handshake. He’ll be back on the training pitch Monday under new coach Gian Piero Gasperini. Roma fans were nervous he’d leave. He didn’t.

Napoli’s Waiting Game

Napoli has a four-year agreement in place with Argentine winger Matías Zeballos. But the deal won’t go through until Napoli clears some roster space. They need to sell before they can buy. Meanwhile, defender Alessandro Vergara’s renewal is on the agenda. His agent meets with president Aurelio De Laurentiis on Monday. That one looks close.

Vlahovic Stays. For Now.

Dusan Vlahovic hasn’t cleaned out his locker at Continassa. That’s a small but real sign he’s staying at Juve — at least through the summer. His agent is working with director Massara on a restructured contract that keeps him on more sustainable wages. Juve also confirmed that Brahim Diaz and Franck Kessié are out of reach financially. Midfield target Joao Palhinha is emerging as a more realistic option.

And the Ederson deal falling apart? That freed up some cash, but it also made the Kolo Muani gap harder to bridge. Juve has room to maneuver. But they’re running out of time.
