Leeds United’s 2026-27 Premier League fixtures dropped Friday, and the schedule has a bit of symmetry. They start away. They end away. In between, there are some dates fans will want to circle.
Daniel Farke’s side secured another year in the top flight with a 14th-place finish last season — solid for a team that just came up. The campaign kicks off at Nottingham Forest on Saturday, August 22, a 3 p.m. kickoff that hasn’t been moved by broadcasters, per the Yorkshire Evening Post.
First home date and a big October visit from Manchester United
Elland Road gets its first league match of the season on August 29 when Brentford comes to town. Not a bad one to start at home, but the fixture that jumps off the page is October 17. That’s when Manchester United visits. Before that, Leeds travel to Arsenal on October 10. Back-to-back heavyweight tests in the space of a week.
Frank Lampard’s Coventry City — who earned promotion last season — roll into Leeds on November 28. That one has a bit of extra spice given Lampard’s history managing in the Premier League and the fact that Coventry wasn’t expected to come up this quickly.
December is a grind
December starts with Liverpool away on the 12th, then Fulham at home on the 19th. The holiday stretch is brutal: Aston Villa away on Boxing Day, then a trip to Hull City on December 30. Everton visits early January. Leeds will be grateful to have avoided last autumn’s nightmare run of Villa, Manchester City, Chelsea, and Liverpool in consecutive weeks — that stretch nearly derailed their season.
Spring fixtures could decide everything
The run-in has some serious weight. Liverpool comes to Elland Road on April 24. Then Ipswich away in early May, followed by Arsenal at home on May 8. Manchester United away on May 15 will be circled by everyone. Leeds finish with Sunderland at home on May 23 and Crystal Palace away on May 30.
So yeah. Road bookends. A lot of travel. But if this squad can find some consistency — especially at home — they might not need to sweat relegation again. The club hasn’t commented on specific targets for the season yet, but staying up is always the baseline for a second-year team.
