Sophie Cunningham Went 6-of-7 From Deep — and Her Post-Game Soundtrack Says It All

Nobody on the floor Tuesday night was hotter than Sophie Cunningham. No one on either bench. Not a single player in the building. And the Indiana Fever guard made sure everyone knew it.

Cunningham poured in 24 points off the bench in just 24 minutes, drilling six of seven 3-pointers as the Fever steamrolled the Toronto Tempo 113-91. It was the kind of shooting night that turns a role player into a headline — and Cunningham leaned into it with a Travis Scott reference that fans immediately latched onto.

She reposted a photo of herself in the middle of a 3-point stroke with the caption “SOPHIE FOR THREE… (& again, & again, & again).” The song she attached? SICKO MODE. A not-so-subtle flex for a night when she missed only one shot from deep and finished just one made triple shy of matching the entire Tempo roster.

That kind of performance doesn’t happen in a vacuum. Cunningham carried momentum straight out of Indiana’s previous win over Connecticut, where she scored the team’s final 11 points and hit three consecutive 3-pointers to close the game. Against Toronto, she one-upped herself — and it didn’t go unnoticed in the locker room.

“Sophie is like the glue stick to this team,” Fever guard Kelsey Mitchell said after the game, per USA Sports.

The Fever are now 9-5 on the season, sitting comfortably in third place in the Eastern Conference. The chemistry on this roster is starting to look dangerous. With Cunningham providing an offensive spark off the bench and Mitchell anchoring the backcourt, Indiana has won four straight and is building a reputation as a team that can beat you from anywhere on the floor.

What made Tuesday’s outburst different was the efficiency. Cunningham didn’t just shoot — she shot with a surgeon’s precision. Six of seven from beyond the arc, plus two rebounds, two assists, and zero wasted possessions. She finished with a plus-minus that reflected her impact, though the box score alone tells the story: 24 points in 24 minutes off the bench, and the game was never really in doubt.

The Fever next host the Dream on June 18 at 7:30 PM ET. If Cunningham keeps shooting like this, Indiana could make a real push up the standings.

And if she keeps adding SICKO MODE to the posts? The WNBA might have a new tradition on its hands.
