Jason Kelce didn’t hold back when talking about how his daughters felt after being flower girls at Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift’s wedding. And honestly, the answer is about as wholesome as you’d expect.
Speaking to the Reno Gazette Journal, the retired Eagles center said his four girls—Wyatt, 6, Elliotte, 5, Bennett, 3, and Finnley, 15 months—were absolutely thrilled to be part of the big day. The wedding took place July 3 at Madison Square Garden with around 1,000 guests, and those little girls had one job: sprinkle flower petals everywhere. According to sportscaster Rich Eisen, who confirmed the flower girl roles to Entertainment Tonight last week, they crushed it.
“The Kelce family is just awesome,” Eisen said. “Those four little girls who were sprinkling flower petals all over the place. It’s pretty cool, dude.”
Jason echoed that sentiment, making it clear the whole family felt lucky to be there. “It was a special event for our entire family, and obviously my daughters are incredible,” Jason told tournament reps, per the Gazette Journal. “They’re beautiful, they’re incredible personalities. And Travis and Taylor love them. So, very happy we were able to be a part of it.”
Uncle Travis Has Always Been There for His Nieces
This isn’t the first time Travis has gone above and beyond for those girls. Back in February, during an episode of Kylie Kelce’s podcast Not Gonna Lie, Travis talked about how he’d sign Wyatt’s test if she bombed one. The conversation started after they watched a TikTok of a kid going to his aunt’s house to get a signature on a bad grade.
“100%,” Travis said when asked if he’d do the same. “Because Wy’s gotta know, and I immediately went to Wyatt. I don’t know why. She’s just the oldest. But they gotta know that they have somebody to come to. No matter what. And I’ll always be there for them.”
He added with a laugh: “But at the same time, it’s like, because sometimes I was the knucklehead that was just not even asking my parents, just kind of signing it myself. And that didn’t end out well.”
The Wedding Everyone’s Talking About
Swift and Kelce’s wedding at MSG was a full-blown spectacle. Guests included Selena Gomez, Tom Brady, Gigi Hadid, and more. There was a raffle for insane prizes—Chanel purses, Cartier watches, even a vintage car. And performances from Stevie Nicks and Paul McCartney? Yeah, it was that kind of night.
Since then, the newlyweds have been spotted at another wedding: JuJu Smith-Schuster’s nuptials to Laura Kruk on July 10 at the Ritz-Carlton in Laguna Niguel, California. Smith-Schuster used to play with Kelce on the Chiefs, so it made sense they showed up.
As for a honeymoon? No word yet on where Swift and Kelce are headed. But given how this summer has gone, don’t expect them to stay low-key for long.
