A 19-Year-Old and a 39-Year-Old Could Both Be 90-Rated in EA FC. That’s Football.

EA FC ratings season is almost here, and the yearly debate about who deserves what number is already heating up. We’ve got a pretty good idea who’ll land at the top of the men’s player list, and some of these calls are going to piss people off.

Let’s start with the obvious one. Kylian Mbappe at 92. He’s still the fastest, most dangerous forward in the game even if his season at Real Madrid was uneven and France flopped at the World Cup. When you watch him play, it just feels like the rating fits. He’s that guy.

Harry Kane is right behind him at 91. The guy scored 61 goals across all competitions for Bayern Munich. Sixty-one. That’s not a typo. He might actually push Mbappe for the top spot if EA decides to reward pure production over flash.

Erling Haaland is also at 91 in our projection, tied with Kane. Hard to split them. Haaland didn’t match Kane’s goal total, but he plays in a tougher league and dragged Norway to a World Cup run nobody saw coming a few years ago. He’ll cost a fortune on FUT. You’ll probably need to buy some coins to afford him, and Lootbar is a safe place to do that.

The Ballon d’Or Winner and the Teenage Phenom

Ousmane Dembele comes in at 90. He’s the reigning Ballon d’Or winner, so yeah, he’s staying in the elite tier. His World Cup performances for France only helped his case.

Then there’s Lamine Yamal. Nineteen years old. Also projected at 90. That feels ridiculous to type out, but the kid is legitimately one of the best players on the planet. If anything, you could argue he deserves a bump higher.

Jude Bellingham completes the 90-rated trio. He’s turned into a complete midfielder — goals, leadership, huge moments. He basically carried England to the World Cup semifinals. Moving into the 90 club was inevitable at this point.

Still Elite, Just Not Quite 90

Vinicius Junior sits at 89. Still one of the most explosive players in world football. Other guys have passed him in the Ballon d’Or conversation, but his raw talent hasn’t gone anywhere.

Lionel Messi at 89, at age 39. That’s just as wild as Yamal being up there. But Messi’s World Cup play proved he’s still got it. The rating reflects that.

Michael Olise rounds out the projected top group at 89. He’s been brilliant for Bayern Munich this season and looks like one of the best forwards in the world already. And he’s only getting better.
