A Lucky Bra Helped the Knicks Win the Finals. Her Girlfriend Won’t Leave Home Without It.

Miles McBride’s girlfriend has a secret weapon, and it’s not a four-leaf clover or a lucky penny. It’s a bra.

Ana Zortea told the story on the latest episode of WAG World, which dropped Thursday. She says she wore what she calls her “lucky bra” through the Knicks’ entire playoff run, and the results were hard to argue with.

“Every time I wear it, they win. Every time I wear it, they win,” Zortea said.

The Knicks ripped off 13 straight wins in the playoffs. They swept the 76ers and the Cavaliers. But the streak ended in Game 3 of the NBA Finals against the Spurs. And Zortea knew exactly why. That night, she couldn’t make the bra work with her outfit. She went with an orange satin halter top instead. No bra. Loss.

“Sometimes I’m wearing a top where I can’t wear the bra, and it happened that they lost that one day,” she said.

So she fixed the problem. From that point on, she made every outfit work around the bra. She wasn’t leaving it at home again.

Game day looks are a whole different thing in the playoffs

During the regular season, Zortea doesn’t go full Knicks colors. She might wear orange or blue, but she’s not trying to match the team like it’s a uniform. And she doesn’t usually put McBride’s face on her clothes.

“I don’t even like to wear his face on my stuff, like on my shirt or anything,” she said.

But the playoffs? That’s a different beast.

“I’m all in. I’m bleeding orange and blue.”

She’s already planning for next season. The lucky bra will be ready.

How they met and what’s next

McBride and Zortea met at West Virginia University in 2021 while she was in grad school. She’s originally from Criciúma, Brazil and came to the U.S. to swim competitively. Their relationship moved fast. They welcomed their first child, Ace Katherine McBride, in June 2025. McBride’s nickname is “Deuce,” a reference to his daughter’s championship-winning father.

Zortea says the bra will be back for the next season opener.

“My good luck charm next season,” she said.

No word yet on whether the Knicks have issued an official statement on the bra. But if the streak from this year is any indication, they might want to make it part of the travel gear.
