Arsenal Pushes for Julian Alvarez as Man United Eyes Another Midfield Target

The summer transfer window is heating up fast, and the Premier League’s biggest clubs are making moves. Arsenal, Manchester United, Chelsea, Liverpool, and Tottenham are all still working on major signings, and a few new names have surfaced.

Arsenal’s Busy Summer Continues

The Gunners have reportedly held fresh talks about bringing Julian Alvarez to North London. There’s also speculation about a swap deal involving Viktor Gyokeres, but nothing has been confirmed. Arsenal is expected to submit a bid for Christos Tzolis soon, following an agreement to sell Leandro Trossard to Besiktas.

Beyond those two, the club is still chasing Morgan Rogers and Bruno Guimaraes. A few more departures could be coming too. The team has not commented on any of these moves yet.

Manchester United’s Midfield Overhaul

United wants to keep reshaping its midfield and has targeted France international Manu Kone. This comes after the arrivals of Youri Tielemans, Andrey Santos, and goalkeeper Karl Darlow. However, the club has pulled out of a deal for Atalanta’s Ederson, who was offered a new contract by his current team.

Fans online noted that United’s focus seems to be on younger, high-upside players rather than established stars. That approach might continue if they land Kone.

Chelsea and Tottenham Circling

Chelsea is pushing hard to sign Pep Chavarria and Maxence Lacroix. Alvaro Carreras is also on the radar, though Xabi Alonso’s interest could complicate things. The Blues have not confirmed any of these targets publicly.

Tottenham could make a move for Francisco Trincao, while Eli Junior Kroupi and Andreas Schjelderup are also being monitored. But there’s a catch — both Cristian Romero and Djed Spence might leave the club this window, which could shift priorities.

Liverpool Enters the Mix

Liverpool wants Bradley Barcola and might also compete with United for Manu Kone. That would create an interesting battle between two clubs that rarely go head-to-head for the same player.

None of these deals are done yet, and the window has plenty of time left. But the momentum is real, and the next few weeks should bring more clarity.
