According to TMZ, Sandler officiated the couple’s ceremony Friday at Madison Square Garden and capped it off with an original song he wrote specifically for them. Think less The Wedding Singer schtick and more genuinely funny, heartfelt ode to two people who are very famous and apparently very in love.

The outlet reported that Sandler’s performance was the highlight of the night. Sources with direct knowledge said the song was humorous but touching, all about their relationship. Which tracks — Sandler has been close with Swift for years, and Kelce’s camp has always seemed to vibe with his brand of goofy sincerity.

A guest list that reads like a Coachella lineup

The wedding itself was ridiculous in the way you’d expect. Jennifer Lopez, Tom Cruise, Paul McCartney, Stevie Nicks, Gwen Stefani, Blake Shelton, Reese Witherspoon, Tim McGraw, Faith Hill, the Haim sisters — all reportedly there. So basically everyone who’s ever been on a magazine cover in the last 30 years.

Swift and Kelce wore custom Christian Dior Haute Couture. Kelce went with a white tuxedo. Swift’s gown had a train long enough to require its own ZIP code. After the ceremony, Andrea Swift — Taylor’s mom — invited guests downstairs for a reception that reportedly mashed up Alice in Wonderland and The Wizard of Oz, complete with a greenhouse structure and actual garden inside.

Why MSG mattered

The venue wasn’t random. Swift was at Madison Square Garden just weeks earlier for Game 4 of the 2026 NBA Finals between the Knicks and the Spurs. She sat courtside with the Haim sisters while New York pulled off a comeback win, wearing a custom Stevie Knicks shirt that immediately went viral. So the building carries some personal history for her and Travis, who’s been spotted at Knicks games too.

As for the ceremony details beyond Sandler’s song — nobody’s saying much. Which is probably by design.
