If you were hoping to see Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce’s wedding celebration pop up on your Instagram feed, forget about it. Phones are getting confiscated. No exceptions.
According to ABC, the two events at Madison Square Garden are strictly phone-free. That doesn’t just mean guests. Vendors, security, everybody. If you’re inside, your phone stays tucked away. And if you were planning to camp outside for a glimpse of arriving celebrities, you’re also out of luck. Tents and canopies are going up to block the view from the street.
Page Six added that MSG has effectively gone dark for corporate employees this week to prevent leaks. Staff won’t be allowed back until Sunday, July 5. That’s how serious they are about keeping this thing private.

Two Events, Very Different Guest Lists
The first gathering happens Thursday, July 2, 2026 at 6 p.m. with about 100 people. That’s the intimate one. The next afternoon, a cocktail hour kicks off at 4 p.m. for roughly 1,000 guests. And this thing runs late. Reports say festivities won’t wrap until 4 a.m. on Saturday, July 4. So it’s a marathon, not a sprint.
It’s all starting to feel real. Swift and Kelce are about to be married, unless the actual ceremony already happened quietly. They got engaged in August 2025 after roughly two years together.
Kelce’s Timing Couldn’t Be Weirder
The wedding events come right as Kelce is heading into his 14th NFL season. He re-signed with the Kansas City Chiefs on a three-year deal, but 2025 was a rough one. The team won just six games and missed the playoffs for the first time since Patrick Mahomes took over. So maybe a wedding is exactly the kind of reset he needs. Or maybe it’s just really bad timing. Either way, the Chiefs will be watching from home when training camp starts.
