Oregon Ducks Top EA Sports College Football 27 Ratings. Here’s the Full Top 10.

The EA Sports College Football 27 ratings dropped, and the Oregon Ducks sit alone at the top. Overall rating of 91. That’s the highest in the game at launch. And it makes sense. Oregon was one play away from the national title game last season, and Dante Moore is back for his second year as the starter. The offense should be even better in 2026.

Ohio State comes in at No. 2 with a 90 overall. The Buckeyes got bounced in their first playoff game by Miami, but they still earned a first-round bye. That says something about how the regular season went. Their offense is a 92, defense is 88. They’re still one of the tougher teams to face in the game.

The defending champs are right behind them

Indiana checks in at No. 3 with a 90 overall. The Hoosiers are the defending national champions, but there’s some uncertainty now that Fernando Mendoza is headed to the NFL. Curt Cignetti is still the head coach though, and that alone keeps Indiana in the conversation for a repeat. The Hoosiers are 90 on both sides of the ball.

Notre Dame is No. 4 at 89 overall. The Fighting Irish didn’t make the playoffs last season, but they still won 10 games. Their defense is a 90, which is higher than their offense. Texas is right there with them at No. 5 — same overall rating, but the Longhorns are stronger on offense (90) than defense (88). Texas also won 10 games last year and missed the playoff field.

Ole Miss, Miami, and LSU round out the top eight

Ole Miss is No. 6 with an 88 overall. The Rebels are balanced — 88 offense, 87 defense. Miami is No. 7 at 88 overall, but the Hurricanes are much better on offense (90) than defense (86). LSU is also at 88 overall. The Tigers went 7-6 last season after starting 4-0, which was a rough drop-off. But they hired Lane Kiffin as head coach, which could change things. Fans online are already debating whether that’ll translate into a ratings boost next year.

Georgia is No. 9 at 87 overall. The Bulldogs have the best defense in the top 10 at 89, but their offense is a relatively modest 85. Oklahoma rounds out the list at No. 10 with an 87 overall and an 88 defense.

So that’s the top 10 in College Football 27 at launch. These are going to be the popular picks for Dynasty Mode and Road to Glory. If you want to see where your school landed, EA Sports posted the full ratings list. The game drops this July.
