Bills WR DJ Moore Spent $1,200 on His Own Jerseys and Let Fans Have Them for Free

DJ Moore has been a Bill for about five minutes. And he already pulled a move that most veterans wouldn’t think of.

The wide receiver, who got traded from Chicago to Buffalo for a 2026 second-round pick, walked into a store called Tee Shirt University near a Buffalo mall. He saw his own Bills jersey T-shirts on the rack and decided to buy every single one. All 27 of them. Over $1,200 out of his own pocket.

But here’s the part that actually matters. He didn’t take them home. He didn’t hand them out himself for a photo op. Moore told the assistant manager, Scot Marshall, to just give them away. Free. To any Bills fan who walked in looking for his jersey.

Marshall told WKBW that Moore came in kind of low-key at first. Didn’t announce himself. Just asked about the jerseys.

“I’m like, ‘What? Do you know the guy or work for him?’ And he’s like, ‘Yeah, I work for him. He’s kind of joking around.’ So he buys them, he goes, ‘I’m going to leave them all here, if anybody comes and they want one, just tell them, DJ Moore bought it for them.’ And then he walks out the door, and he pokes his head back in and goes, ‘Yeah, it’s me.’ And he just walks away, and it was a very nice thing that he did,” Marshall said.
