Arsenal, Man United, Chelsea All Moving Fast as Summer Window Hits Final Stretch

The summer transfer window is heating up fast. With the World Cup winding down and preseason camps opening across Europe, Premier League clubs are finally hitting the gas on deals that have been simmering for weeks.

Arsenal looks close to locking up a deal for Christos Tzolis, according to multiple reports. The Gunners are also still chasing Morgan Rogers and Bruno Guimaraes as Mikel Arteta tries to add depth before the season starts. And with William Saliba injured, Arsenal has been linked to Ezri Konsa as a potential stopgap at center back. That one makes sense on paper. Konsa knows the league, and Arsenal needs someone who can step in right away.

There’s also a fresh update on Julian Alvarez floating around. No confirmation yet from either side, but the rumor mill is active.

Over at Manchester United, they’re not done in midfield despite already bringing in Youri Tielemans and Andrey Santos. United has made contact for Hugo Larsson and is preparing a formal bid for Manu Kone. The scouting department seems to be casting a wide net, which is probably smart given how many games a top club plays across all competitions.

Chelsea has been told exactly what it will cost to sign Maxence Lacroix. The Blues are also considering a loan move for Mamadou Sarr. It feels like Chelsea is still figuring out its identity under the new ownership, but they’re not hesitating to make calls.

Tottenham has already spent over £200 million this summer. That’s a lot of money. They’re still looking at more additions, but they turned down an offer from Newcastle for Lucas Bergvall. That tells you something about how highly they rate him. Spurs aren’t just selling off young talent anymore.

Liverpool locked down Dominik Szoboszlai on a new contract, which is a big win for them. But they’re still hunting for at least one forward, maybe two. Bradley Barcola keeps popping up in rumors. Liverpool’s attack has a different feel without some of the old faces, so expect them to keep pushing.

Nobody is hitting the brakes just yet. The next few weeks should be busy.
