Declan Rice Is Leading a Charm Offensive to Bring Morgan Rogers to Arsenal

Arsenal’s chase for Morgan Rogers is picking up steam, and Declan Rice might be the secret weapon. According to the Daily Mail, Rice is working the room at England’s World Cup camp in the United States, trying to sell Rogers on a move to the Emirates. Bukayo Saka and Eberechi Eze are reportedly in on the pitch too.

The Gunners are one of several clubs interested in the Aston Villa playmaker after another monster season. Villa might be willing to sell their top asset for around £85 million, per reports. But the deal isn’t expected to move until after the World Cup, so there’s time for more drama.

In the meantime, Arsenal has opened talks over Christos Tzolis and is monitoring Bradley Barcola and Ayyoub Bouaddi. They’re also closing in on deals for Andria Bartishvili and Jeremy Monga. Busy summer.

Manchester United Agrees Terms With Mateus Fernandes, Eye West Ham Teammate

Manchester United has agreed to terms with Mateus Fernandes, and they’re not done. The club wants to bring his West Ham teammate Crysencio Summerville to Old Trafford too. But their big target, Sandro Tonali, is slipping away. Tottenham is closing in on the Italian midfielder in a deal that could hit £90 million-plus.

Tottenham is also working on deals for Fernandes, Savinho, and reportedly Marcus Rashford. Lucas Bergvall and Luka Vuskovic want out of Spurs, which could free up room and cash.

Julian Alvarez Wants Out. Atletico Madrid Says No. It’s Getting Awkward.

Julian Alvarez went public with his desire to leave Atletico Madrid in a bombshell interview from the World Cup. He said, “The best thing for everyone is a transfer. And I want to fulfill my dream.” Barcelona is circling, but Atletico isn’t budging. The club gave a statement to AS: “There is no amount of money for which Barcelona can buy Julian Alvarez. He will not be transferred to Barcelona. Either they pay the release clause for €500 million (£431 million) or there is no deal.”

Barcelona is already looking at alternatives, including Benjamin Sesko, who’s currently at Manchester United and not believed to be for sale.

Liverpool Bids for Yan Diomande, Chelsea Wants Adam Wharton

Liverpool has made a new bid for Yan Diomande, but PSG is also in the mix. Over at Chelsea, the club wants Adam Wharton to replace Enzo Fernandez, who is desperate to join Real Madrid. Nothing is done yet, but the pieces are moving.

In other news, Thiago Silva has rejoined Fluminense for the third time after a brief stint at Porto. The club said, “Some stories will never have an end.” And AC Milan is talking to PSG about Goncalo Ramos, with Santiago Gimenez potentially headed to MLS club Orlando City.

The window is open. The rumors are flying. Stay tuned.
