Jets Players Say They Want 50 Cent, Denzel and Timothée Chalamet in the Stands

Ten New York Jets players sat down recently and did something simple for a team video. They named the one celebrity they’d most like to see at a game. The answers ran from hip-hop royalty to a basketball-obsessed movie star to a guy who just picked himself.

The video hit the team’s X account on July 9 and the thread is already full of fans tagging their own picks. But the players had the floor first.

Chalamet Gets Two Nods

Running back Breece Hall kicked things off by naming Timothée Chalamet. Quarterback Brady Cook followed up with the same choice. That gave Chalamet two votes on the spot. The actor is a known Knicks fan and has been spotted at Madison Square Garden plenty of times, but he’s never publicly claimed an NFL team. The Jets are obviously trying to change that. They captioned the video “see you soon @RealChalamet.”

Chalamet hasn’t responded yet. But if he shows up at MetLife Stadium this fall, you’ll know why.

50 Cent and Denzel Tie for Second

Armand Membou and Joe Tippmann both picked 50 Cent. That’s two votes for the rapper and TV producer who’s already made plenty of headlines around the NFL for his relationship with the league. Will McDonald IV went with Denzel Washington. That’s classy and it’s hard to argue with. Washington has that gravitas that makes any room feel bigger.

Braelon Allen smiled shyly and said Drake. Nahshon Wright did something a little different and named himself. Adonai Mitchell took a second to think about it then said Nia Long. Marquis Hayes picked Kodak. Azareye’h Thomas closed it out with Rod Wave.

So the final tally: Chalamet got two votes. 50 Cent got two votes. Washington got one. Everyone else got one.

It’s Still Early But the Season Is Coming

The Jets have a lot of work to do before the 2026-27 season kicks off on Kickoff Weekend, which runs September 9-10 and September 13-14, 2026. The regular season wraps up January 10, 2027. Wild Card Weekend starts January 16. Super Bowl LXI is set for February 14, 2027 at SoFi Stadium in Inglewood, California.

If any of those celebrities actually make it to a game, expect the clip to go right back up. And if Chalamet shows up with a Jets hat on, the internet might actually break.
