Dallas Cowboys kicker Brandon Aubrey and his wife Jenn are officially outnumbered. The couple welcomed their second baby boy this week, adding another little one to a household that already includes their son Colton Scott, who was born during the 2024 preseason.
The Cowboys made it official on social media with a simple post: “Congrats to the Aubreys on their new baby boy!” followed by a blue heart. The comments section filled up fast with fans sending well-wishes and heart emojis. The team didn’t share the baby’s name, but the internet did what it does and started guessing.
Brandon and Jenn have been together since their Notre Dame days. They started dating in 2015, got married in 2019, and have been building their family ever since. For a guy who spends his Sundays drilling 60-yard field goals under pressure, Aubrey seems to save his softest moments for his family. Jenn posted a few days before delivery thanking friends for a baby shower. “Brandon and I are so blessed to have the most amazing friends and family who love and support our growing family,” she wrote, shouting out the Stones for hosting the celebration.
It’s been a wild few years for Aubrey. He’s 31 now, a multi-sport athlete who played in MLS before pivoting to football with the Birmingham Stallions in the USFL and then landing with the Cowboys in 2023. He made the Pro Bowl last season and has become one of the most reliable kickers in the league. Not bad for a guy who wasn’t even on an NFL roster three years ago.
Now he’s juggling training camp prep and late-night diaper changes. That’s the life. The Cowboys haven’t said when the new baby arrived exactly, but the congratulations are still rolling in. Some things matter more than football, and Aubrey seems to get that.
