A woman named Kristen posted a series of videos on Instagram this week accusing New York Jets quarterback Geno Smith of domestic violence and neglecting their child. The posts spread fast across social media, and they include some pretty specific claims.
In the first video, Smith is on the phone after Kristen says she called the police. She wrote over the clip that Smith “beat my a$$ cause he HATES taking care of his special needs kid and can’t be left alone with him because he’d rather watch s*x online and play Call of Duty.” She also claimed he attacked her outside.
Kristen followed up with more posts, saying Smith refused to hand over home security footage to police. She challenged him directly: “How about you guys ask him to release the footage? NOT JUST THE DOORBELL CAMERA. ALL OF IT. I’ll wait…”
Then things got messier. Kristen clarified the child she named, Seven, isn’t hers biologically but said she’s supportive. She shared screenshots of texts from Smith’s mother, who accused Kristen of not taking care of the boy. “You send money like you sponsor a child in Africa and don’t check on him,” the mother wrote. “You know absolutely nothing about him or his day to day life.”

In her latest post, Kristen showed Smith in her car. She claimed she dropped off his child and tried to leave, but Smith followed her outside, attacked her, and took her purse and keys so she couldn’t drive away.
Smith hasn’t said anything publicly yet. No statement from his agent or the Jets. It’s unclear if he will respond or when. This is supposed to be a fresh start for Smith after the Raiders traded him back to New York. He played for the Jets from 2013 to 2016 before bouncing around. Now he’s heading into his second stint with the team, and this story is hanging over everything.
Police haven’t confirmed an investigation. The team has not commented. For now, it’s Kristen’s videos and text screenshots against Smith’s silence.
